DESCRIPTION:\n \n \n \n \nPlease join BCEPC for our upcoming seminar:\n \nSpecial Needs Trusts and their Regulatory Framework\n \n \n \nIdentify appropriate circumstances for special needs trusts, understand the differences between Disability trusts and third-party trusts, learn the eligibility criteria for Disability trusts, conduct an effective interview for a special needs trust, comply with Colorado regulations on submission or approval by the Department of Healthcare, Policy and Financing.\n \n \n \nPresenter:\n \nDiedre Wachbrit Braverman is an attorney in private practice in the boutique estate planning and administration firm, Braverman Law Group, in Boulder. She focuses her practice on high net worth planning and special needs planning. She was drawn into special needs planning to assist her brother, who has severe autism.\n \nAdmitted to California, where she received her law degree from Stanford Law School in 1997, and Colorado, most of Diedre’s clients are in Colorado. She is a frequent CLE speaker locally and nationally on topics like trust protectors, spousal lifetime access trusts, and special needs planning. She speaks on basic estate planning concepts at local events for seniors.\n \nDiedre has practiced with Braverman Law Group since 2011. Before then, she practiced estate and special needs planning in California at Wachbrit Braverman, PC.\n \nShe spends her free time with her husband, Bennett Braverman, who is also an estate planning attorney with Braverman Law Group, their dog, Toby (he has his own fan club in downtown Boulder), and their cat, Cody. Diedre loves catching up with their young adult children when they stop studying and working long enough.
